There is no internal IT department
Technology is too important to remain a collection of informal duties, individual vendors and reactive calls.
Preliminary answer / Complete outsourced IT department
For organisations without internal IT, Fully Managed IT gives the complete technology function to one accountable team. This includes daily helpdesk, maintenance, security, cloud, planning and vendor coordination.
The preliminary answer
Fully Managed IT is Redstone’s primary and most widely used service. We become the client’s outsourced IT department: monitoring the environment, supporting users, maintaining systems, managing security and cloud platforms, coordinating vendors, planning improvements and providing vCIO leadership. Co-managed IT remains available when an internal team already owns part of the function.

Technology is too important to remain a collection of informal duties, individual vendors and reactive calls.
Every user needs a professional helpdesk with clear ownership, communication, escalation and follow-through.
Monitoring, maintenance, security, backup, cloud and documentation must continue between support requests.
The business needs budgets, priorities, standards, project planning and vendor decisions connected to business goals.
What Redstone would do first
The exact technical work depends on the environment. Redstone begins with a disciplined sequence that protects the business and makes the next decision clearer.
Step 1
Document users, devices, sites, systems, providers, risks and current support arrangements.
Step 2
Define Redstone’s responsibility for support, maintenance, security, cloud, vendors, decisions and escalation.
Step 3
Establish access, documentation, tools, helpdesk communication and an ordered plan for urgent risks.
Step 4
Operate the daily service while leadership receives reporting, vCIO guidance, budgets and a practical technology roadmap.
Preliminary expectations
These details help with early planning and scheduling. Redstone confirms the actual scope after understanding impact, access, dependencies and risk.
New clients can begin with an Initial Fit and Environment Review. A detailed technical assessment may be recommended when the environment is larger, poorly documented or requires formal findings before onboarding. Fully Managed IT is designed for Redstone to own the complete function. Co-managed support can be scoped separately when internal IT already exists.
A small environment can often be assessed in 1-2 weeks after access is available. Onboarding typically takes 2-6 weeks depending on documentation, security gaps, sites, devices, vendors and required remediation.
The responsibility model is shaped around users, devices, sites, coverage, risk profile and the responsibilities Redstone accepts. The final agreement includes a written responsibility matrix rather than a generic one-size package.
Written confirmation: your proposal or agreement states the scope, availability, responsibilities and response commitments before work begins.
Help us answer faster
You do not need a technical brief. If the information is available, a short checklist helps us route the request and identify the right first step.
Before you contact us
These answers are intended to help you decide whether Redstone is a sensible next conversation, not force you into a form.
The agreement can cover user support, monitoring, maintenance, infrastructure, security, cloud services, backup, documentation, vendors, projects, budgeting, planning and vCIO guidance. The final responsibility matrix is written into the service agreement.
Co-managed IT remains available. Redstone can add monitoring, escalation, helpdesk, security, project capacity or coverage while responsibilities stay explicitly shared with the internal team.
No. Onboarding establishes visibility and priority. Urgent risks are handled first, while technical debt and larger projects move through an agreed improvement plan.
Yes. A repair, assessment or project is often the best way to solve an immediate need, improve documentation and evaluate the working relationship before considering ongoing service.
